Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

For many months, two parishioners, Adrian at Appleby and James at Penrith have been preparing to join the Church this Easter.

On Sat 8 March, along with others from across the diocese, they will attend the Rite of Election in Lancaster Cathedral with Bishop Paul at 2pm. They will be accompanied by their sponsors and Fr. John & Deacon David. Family, friends and parishioners are welcome to attend this special diocesan liturgy.

James and Adrian will be Baptised at the Easter Vigil this year and receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Communion.

Please keep them in your prayers and those preparing to enter the Church throughout the diocese.
