This week’s news from St Catherine’s Primary School

This week saw Year 5 and 6 have the culmination of an exciting project with QEGS called 'The Final year'. Carnegie medal nominated poet Matt Goodfellow, led a writing workshop for all the children involved. It was a real treat to hear from and have the opportunity to meet someone so inspirational. He shared his personal battle with ADHD, family difficulties, failed rockstar status but ultimately none of these held him back once he realised what his path in life was. A real lesson for our children about overcoming adversity. Rebecca Davies, Headteacher
